Keith Armitage is highly respected on the Northern Beaches for his live performances and his support work with youth talent. He has been a professional musician, entertainer and songwriter for many years here in Sydney and has played thousands of gigs in all sorts of venues from the Opera House to Cruise Ships from Pubs to clubs, weddings, parties, anything and still does so every weekend. Also for the last few years Keith has been teaching guitar to young and old from his home in Narrabeen or doing house calls. He is fun, caring and easy going and very proficient at many styles and genres including folk, blues, country and rock. He teaches Fingerpicking, Strumming and Lead guitar and introduces theory along the way to give a complete knowledge of music. Keith knows hundreds of songs and tailors his lessons to suit the individuals tastes and really enjoys the journey he takes his students on as they open up to the world of music. Keith currently teaches Guitar and Ukelele at St Keirans Catholic School in Manly Vale from ages 5-8.

Keith is also a multi award winning singer-songwriter winning Australian Songwriter of the Year from the ASA in 2001 when 5 of his songs made the finals from over 2500 entries. He has been teaching the craft for over four years at Sydney Community College and the Northern Beaches Community College.
