Hi All

The most relevant topic for news this week is the unbelievable success we are having at The Hotel Delany, I couldn't believe with very little build up that we could be so warmly received. The crowd seemed even bigger than last week and the response from the audience was very very positive. We have now started to kick back into booking ahead and I urge all you Sydney artists who are interested in coming up, to contact us ASAP. Remember that it's a Sunday night and runs from 6.30 - 9.30 so even if you did the last spot you could be home by midnight and by the looks of things I can pretty much guarantee you a large receptive crowd.

This week we have what has proved to be one of our favourite nights in Manly. The return of the Newcastle Attacks night. This one is number 5 and will be just as hot as the last four. Check out the line up below and come one down I promise you great entertainment. Daniel Arvidson puts on one of the best shows I've seen so far at Songwriters and Fumi Boca proved so popular that Manly doesn't seem to be able to get enough of them.

Thanks to all those acts who played last week and especially Frank the band and Rick Hopkins for doing the first Sunday of the month for us and I hear the crowds were down a bit but the music was great, so we will have to see if we can build this up as time goes by.

Lastly Sian Dowling has told me this week that due to her TAFE studies and her commitments at Victory Music she is finding it very hard to fit in the time it takes to Co-ordinate Songwriters for me. Thus I am now looking for someone to come in and do this for her. This is a job and I do pay for the time it takes. It entails coming to my office once a week on a Monday or a Tuesday night and working on the computer, making calls to artists and planning the events ahead. I would like someone who is personable, enjoys talking to people, loves music and coming to the nights to see the acts perform would definitely be a bonus as well.
